Young Single Adult Stake Calendars

We are having a problem with the LDS.org calendar. Since everyone in leadership in a Young Single Adult Stake is a out of unit member, any time we update the Young Single Adult Stake Calendar it also updates our home Stakes calendar.

Is there any way to stop this or do we always have to use one of the Young Single Adults in our stake to update the calendar?

I'm curious as to how it could update calendars in two stakes - unless the two calendars were of the same name. Is that the case? If so, then perhaps having a YSA member update the calendar names in your stake to make them unique could be a quick work-around.

Each event is on a single calendar and each calendar is in a single Stake so this really should not be possible. In addition, since you are leadership in the YSA stake, it seems unlikely that you have any edit rights on your home stake (unless you also hold a calling in your home stake for which you have been given editor rights there). So you shouldn't be able to add or change events in your home stake.

Can you explain in a bit more detail what happens when you make a change? Are you sure that other members of your home stake are really seeing the changes you make?

It could be that the YSA stake shares the building with a conventional stake. The conventional stake made a YSA Stake calendar so they could schedule things in the building and gave certain people rights (residing within the conventional stake but affiliated with the YSA stake) to update the YSA Stake calendar. So they may not be as separate as we may think. That is a work around that our Stake did for the YSA Stake housed within our building.

Anyone in our conventional stake can subscribe to the YSA stake calendar and see what they are doing. At least in our building. To be less confusing (?), the YSA Stake puts "YSA Stake" in front of everything they schedule: "YSA Stake Priesthood leadership meeting," for example.
