Recurring Events of a Unit Formerly Assigned to a Location

Up until a few months ago a Ward not in our Stake was assigned to our building. As a unit that was in our building they were able to create events and choose our building as the location for them. Recently that Ward was reassigned to another location and a new Ward that is also not in our Stake was assigned to our building to take their place. There are still a few events of that Ward that is now assigned to a different location that has recurring events scheduled at our location and we are unable to schedule the resources even though they aren't holding the events at our location.

Is there a way to delete those events or do we have to find some way to contact the Ward that has moved to a different location and have them delete the event?

A building scheduler can delete any event held at their location. However, I think the polite thing to do is at least inform the other ward so they can properly reschedule the event.

You can look up the other ward in CDOL and find contact info for the clerk and other members of the bishopric.

Neither our Stake nor our Ward Building scheduler seems to be able to delete these events. The Unit came from a different Stake. Is it supposed to work that way?

My understanding is that the person designated as the building scheduler in the Calendar can delete the events. Can the folks in question create reservations? If not, then they are not building schedulers.

Note that the Building Scheduler MUST be assigned in the calendar. It doesn't bubble up from MLS, nor is anyone automatically a Building Scheduler. It must be set in the calendar before it's effective. Only a default admin (the extended stake presidency) can set it.
