Month Navigation

Post by danockld »

The calendar needs jump-to month navigation like the old one had. Now, if it's January, and I want to see December, I have to click, wait, click, wait, click, wait....

And the calendar is slow. I know it's doing a lot of things, but at the end of the day, if it's slow, it's slow.

The small month calendar located in the left sidebar is a much quicker way to navigate than actually moving through the months and waiting for the page to be displayed ieach time. You can move ahead or back a month at a time by clicking on the forward or back arrows as quickly as you would like, then when you get to the desired month, you click on the desired day in the month and you'll then only have to wait once for the page to be displayed.

For moves that are a small number of months away, I find this to be quicker than the old system, but for moves that are 6 or more months away, I do find myself wishing we had the old dropdowns.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
