I'm going to be helping building schedulers in my stake use the new calendar, but I didn't know the answer to the above question since I'm not a building scheduler.

I think the answer is: they just use the "Locations" checkboxes in the bottom left hand corner of the calendar weekly view.

Is that right?

That's one answer. The other is to use Settings > Reservations. See this post.
