Change contact name of a calendar event

When creating a new event for a calendar, the user that creates the event is assigned as the contact for the event. This has created a problem for one ward in our stake.

The Y/M calendar is in serious need of some updates. The Y/M are in the process of getting a new secretary called but the Bishop would like the calendar updated right away. So the Y/M have added a member of the ward as an administrator of the Y/M's calendar just so he can add the coming year's calendar items.

This brother is now the contact person for all of these events even though he is not associated with the Y/M other than entering the calendar information.

Any ideas on how to (or if we can) change the contact information to the Y/M president?

Have the YM President "edit" each activity. The change can be quite minor. (And it may not require any change at all.)

For others reading this thread there needs to be some clarification about terms and rights. Wards have administrators that can edit any public ward calendar. Each calendar has editors who can add or edit events on that calendar. So in this situation it is most likely that the member was made an editor of the YM calendar and not an administrator.

RussellHltn's recommendation can be extended to not only the YM president but to any person. Preferably a member of the YM presidency would be a good choice. As Russell alluded, merely clicking the "Update Event" button may be all that is necessary. But if that does not work then edit something in the description text box and update the event.
