I have created a private calendar for the High Priest group leadership to schedule events not of interest to the ward in general (building cleaning, snow removal, leader visits to members, etc.), but when I enter the event into the private calendar it also appears on the regular High Priests calendar that is viewable by everyone. How do I keep private items private? Vic Berrett

I have never seen the behavior you describe. Are you certain that others can see the event you entered on the private calendar? I would check a couple of things:

• Edit the event that you expect to be on the private calendar, and make sure that you indeed put it on the correct private calendar.
• Note that there is only one calendar view; you can choose which of your subscribed calendars you want to appear by checking or unchecking boxes by calendars in the list of Subscribed Calendars.
• Ask someone else who subscribes to the High Priests public calendar if they can see an event you created on the private calendar. It may be that you are incorrectly assuming that others can see the events on the private calendar, when in reality they can't.
• Make sure that the private calendar is configured to include only the small set of people you want to be able to see it.
