I wrote an LDS app for the Zune HD a month or so ago and today just finished a spanish version.

I'm not going to go into how to install the apps, there are plenty of tutorials that show you how to deploy to the Zune HD, but for those few that have a Zune HD and would like to check it out here you go.

*note: the spanish version currently lacks the Hymn Book. I couldn't find it anywhere in txt format or html, so I'll probably have the type that up later.

I've heard that Microsoft has thrown in the towel on ZuneHD, while the player is good, the concept of having HD radio in it didn't fly as well as hoped, and it also did not sell as many as they thought it would although the sales were reasonable. I also think that Microsoft is working more on Windows Phone 7 devices now, and I've even heard that there is early work going on for it's successor, tentatively known as 'Windows Phone 8'

you are welcome. let me know if you have any issues with it. I thought i missed a couple of chapters in the O.T. but haven't double checked. I'm taking a break from this project, but plan on revisiting to do some scrolling optimization and maybed a better way to get the text to the device (the deploy takes to long).

Hey this app looks great. I deployed it onto my Zune and it was working fine, but whenever I press the Home button my zune restarts. I took the app off and it stopped doing the restart thing. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me.

While Microsoft encouraged homebrewing on the Zune, this was the big "but" in the whole process. Once exited, it would restart the player. Any home brew app does the same, and as of this date there hasn't been a fix for it.
