iPad Gospel Library

#12

Post by heilnersb-p40 »

jaredwhittle,

We recently updated the Gospel Library with support for the iPad just last week. This version addresses the issues you mentioned in your post. We also have plans for an even better version (2.0?) that will take better advantage of the screen real estate on the iPad. We'll be sure to keep you posted on our progress. Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome. I looked on the iPad store and NOW there is a separate app for the iPad. Thanks guys. It took Apple long enough to approve it...

I'm glad to see that finally some attention is being given to Android. Thank you for the Android Gospel Library. It is working great so far on my DROID Incredible!

I can attest that progress is being made. I'm still in touch with the team even though I haven't actively helped in a while. The hangups for the Windows Mobile apps are a small team of active participants and also the Microsoft mobile development technologies themselves. Windows Phone 7 should improve things, but in order to get the most adoption, we have to currently target Windows Mobile 6 and 6.5.

Blackberry 9700 - Mormon Channel Issues

Post by rmanpaul »

I have downloaded this on my Blackberry Bold 9700.

I constantly get "loading schedule"

Does anyone know what I need to do in order to be able to user this on my phone?

Thanks

Paul

Thanks for getting a great iPad app online. Love it. *****

There will probably be some wanting page-turning functions, etc., but not me. Keep it simple.

Someday it would be great to highlight a paragraph in a talk and then switch to the clip of that paragraph being delivered over the pulpit. Also, Maybe I missed it, but the Gospel Art Kit would be a nice addition. Unlike other mobile devices, the iPad is large enough to be used in a small class as a visual aid. So it would be useful for pictures or short talk clips.
