I am the stake clerk and am trying to research the tool FIR.
I have a Stake Assistant Tech specialist that is trying to use this app. but unable to do so.
I have found that it is accessible to all Ward council members. I assume it is accessible to all Stake council members.
Is there a definitive list of those who have access?
Do I have our stake assistant tech spec. recorded wrong in the callings area?

Any help on where to find this info would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

The calling must be recorded as a standard position. Custom positions do not grant any rights (ever).

You can check by going into CDOL. If his position is in a orange font, it's a custom position.

I should also add that new callings can take 24 hours before the permissions start to work. Even if it shows up in the lists immediately. The computers have to have their semi-daily correlation meeting first.

I checked LCR and the position is a standard position.
I have never used CDOL before but his name would not come up in CDOL
He has been in this position for a couple of months now. Maybe he just doesn't get to have access to that App?

Well, then you need to address that. CDOL is the authoritative database of positions. If he's not listed there, then as far as the church IT is concerned, he doesn't have a calling.

I looked, but I didn't see a list of who has access.

OK I figured it out how to find him in CDOL and he is not in orange font. He is a standard position.
This then would indicate he does not have access to the FIR app?

Probably. Just to make sure - what is his calling? "Stake Assistant Clerk--Technology Specialist" do have access. But I'm not so sure about any assistant to the STS.
