Keyboard unusable in family tree app (iPad)

Hi,

We've been using the Family Tree on our iPad Air 2, but are unable to enter captions for photos because the on-screen keyboard shows up twice as wide as the screen and so only half the buttons are usable. I checked general settings and zoom is off. On-screen keyboard works fine in all the other apps, not sure what to try next.

Ideas?

Thanks!
Ryan

Oh, should add: my wife says it used to work fine, so something has changed.

You might try and change the orientation. I like to use landscape on my tablet, but some screens just don't seem to work and I have to switch to portrait.

We already tried that... when switching between landscape and portrait, the on-screen keyboard changes size so the problem stays exactly the same. It's almost like it thinks we have a bigger screen than we really do and is centered/sized on that larger screen.

I'm having trouble duplicating your problem on my iPad Air 2. Could you provide us the steps you take to get to the point where you are editing the caption? If you can capture a screen shot of the app in the problem state (press the home button and power button at the same time) that would be helpful as well.

Thanks!
