Vidyo Windows 10 compatibility

I have some leaders in the stake telling me that the vidyo tool found on pvc.lds.org is not compatible with windows 10. I have not made the upgrade to win10 myself.
Does anyone have some information in that respect ?
If it is not compatible, are there some alternatives ? I could not find any windows 10 client version on the official vidyo website.

I have this issue. When I attempt to download the install file, I receive this error message:

It appears that you are using a version of Windows that is not supported by VidyoWeb.

Any help?

Hi All,

I have been spending some time with this software and have managed to successfully run and participate in a call.

For Windows 10 its correct, it doesn't look like there is full support avaliable.
I use Vidyo Desktop that I downloaded from pvc.lds.org. I was able to install and launch the software, but when joining a call or joining my own room, the software would subsequently crash.
By going to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vidyo\Vidyo Desktop" folder, I was able to locate the main EXE (VidyoDesktop.exe)
Right Clicking, and setting the compatibility to window 7 resolved the issue. No more crashes and it joins calls and rooms with out a problem.

Sent the following to our Global Support Center
Justin - like you posted, you have to run with in Compatibility Mode

Vidyo Personal Windows 10 Firefox web browser guest account
Gives you an error message:
"It appears that you are using a version of Windows that is not supported by VidyoWeb. "

Windows 10 Home 64 bit Version 1607
Firefox 50.0.2
Note: this is a clean Windows 10 install, no existing VidyoDesktop client

Web Guest link (will provide screen with error message screen)
Prompt to installed plugin and had to allow plugin in browser and allow in Windows Firewall
Vidyo Personal, Application 1.0.5 (8) and Web plugin 1.0.5 (65)
Restarted Windows 10 desktop
You will get the version is not supported message unless you run in the browser
in Compatibility Mode

This issue will be lots of fun when members without a PVC account try to use the guest connection on Windows 10 devices
