Gospel Library crashes at Ether 9

The last time I successfully used Gospel Library, I saved a note at the end of Ether 9. Now when I go back into the program and try to access Ether 9, the program crashes. 
It also crashes when I try to access chapter 10, but I can get into chapter 11 and all the rest of the books in the library just fine.
I suspect that I'll have to uninstall and reinstall the BOM, but I'm afraid that I'm going to lose the hundreds of annotations and highlights that I have saved.
Can someone share with me whether my fears are justified? If so, is there a way to fix the problem without uninstalling and reinstalling the BOM?
