4.0 update to fix crash

Gospel Library would not open on my i-Pad after the 4.0 update. Received notice on Dec 20th that an update was available to "fix the crash on startup affecting some users". Downloaded that update but my Gospel Library still will not open. Is anyone else having that problem? Suggestions? My i-Pad is 9.3.5 version so it should be compatible.

Some users have reported that closing all of your open apps (go to recent apps by double-tapping the home button, then swipe each app up out of the list), then opening Gospel Library, allowed the startup to finish. (This allows Gospel Library to have a bit more memory available for the start-up process.)

Thank you for your help. I have Gospel Library working. I deleted it, reinstalled, shut down my I-Pad and it finally opened. I lost my notes and highlights even though Gospel Library went to the cloud when I deleted it. I will sync my notes and etc from now on, certainly a learning experience!
