new testament narration

Postby mdclcsw » Sun Feb 07, 2016 2:19 pm

the new testament narration recently changed to an LDS reader. I loved the original version. Is there anyway to find out whose voice it was and access the original version online?

The recordings that used to be at LDS.org and in Gospel Library were done by Alexander Scourby (1913–1985). Ownership and licensing of the recordings is done through Litchfield Associates and the recordings appear on many Christian apps, websites, and CD sets, so you should be able to find it. The new LDS Bible recordings on LDS.org and in Gospel Library give the Church more freedom to manage how they are distributed, etc. without worrying about licensing restrictions.

Awesome - it just changed one day and although the new narrations are fine, they are not the same. Thanks for the answer.
