LDS tools won't connect to server

Hi, whenever I try to sign into my LDS Account on the LDS tools app I receive a notification that LDS.org is down for maintenance. This issue only began yesterday (3/31/2015).

I have an iphone 3 running ios 5.1.1, and I can access the internet on my phone using other applications (safari, app store, etc.).

anybody having the same problem? thanks in advance.
