Gospel library app freezing on iPad Air 2

#1

Post by lanechristianrochow »

Hi, my gospel library app does not work on my new iPad Air 2. Most of the time it shows a screen that has incomplete content (i.e. "Matthew Chapter 13" in the bar at the top of the page, but a blank screen below). I can't navigate away from the initial page because it is frozen.
I frequently close the app completely, and reset my iPad, in the hope that it will reset the settings enough to allow me to use the app, but unfortunately to no avail.
Can someone please help?

You might try deleting the app from your iPad, then re-installing it. Have you tried that?

I wanted to avoid deleting the app so that I wouldn't have to individually re-install each item within the app; quite time consuming.

This issue seems to have resolved with the recent iOS updates.

There's a shortcut for downloading content that you may already be aware of – if you go to the main Library screen and click "Edit" (top right), you can select several categories all at once, then click "Download" to download everything from each selected category. The background download process can be time-consuming, especially on a slow internet connection, but it's much easier and faster than clicking each manual or book individually.
