Linking

While studying teachings of the prophet:Lorenzo Snow I found some quotes that I wanted to link to scripture. Basically, when reading the scriptures I wanted to find a link that would take me back to Pres. Snows quotes. While in the manual I made a link to the scriptures (which was basically unnecessary because the reference was already there) but when I double checked the scriptures there was not a link going back to the manual which is what I really wanted. I then tried creating the link from the scriptures back to the manual but it didn't do anything ( maybe because a link was already there?). I hope that makes sense. In a nutshell, I am hoping to make links in my scriptures that will take me back to quotes and stories that add explanation or clarification. What am I doing wrong?
