Syncing Between Gospel Library and Notebook, Etc. On LDS.ORG

Is the syncing between Gospel Library and your personal notebook and scripture marking on LDS.org automatic? Is there a way to force a sync? I recently deleted Gospel Library from my Ipod and re-installed it. Afterwards, all of my markings in Gospel Library were gone. They are still on LDS.org; and if I mark something new in Gospel Library it shows up on LDS.org. None of my previous markings sync back to Gospel Library. Do I have to re-mark Gospel Library one item at a time? Or is there an easier way?
