Conference Videos Corrupt on Gospel Library for iPad

I have an issue on an iPad 1 where the conference videos are corrupt, and huge. Like over 1gb per talk. Of course they won't play. I've tried removing and re-adding the app. No help. Any idea how to purge it fresh?

Right now, the conference talks are still huge each time I download them, and they refuse to play. The play icon has a line through it, indicating it's broken, but no other messages.
