App crashes when opening

My dad has a Samsung Galaxy and was running the Gospel Library app just fine until the latest update. Now whenever he launches the app it immediately crashes. Please advise.
I would first suggest that you try to delete the ldssa folder on your SD card. Once that is deleted, start the app again and see if it will download the library again. If you still have problems, uninstall the app, delete the ldssa folder and reinstall the app again. We have found that in some instances, the database becomes corrupted and causes problems such as force closes. This is usually fixed by downloading the database again which is accomplished by removing the ldssa folder.
