I love Gospel Library and LDS Tools, but the endless scrolling involved does get tiresome. Yes, I know there is instant search, but let's be honest, some of the older members of the church who are just beginning to use smartphones stick to scrolling and not searching.

I propose that the UI for chapter numbers in Gospel Library and names in LDS Tools be refreshed to implement the fantastic interface on the Zune HD. For Gospel Library, just have a grid with chapter numbers. Isiah is far too long to scroll through . In LDS Tools, Have a box with the letter "A" above the last names beginning with A, a box with the letter "B" above the last names beginning with B, and so on. When a user clicks the letter, the UI zooms out to a screen containing boxes with every letter in the alphabet. By clicking a letter the user then jumps to last names beginning with that letter.

Attached is a picture of the Zune HD interface zoomed out to the letters of the alphabet. If there are legal issues that would preclude the use of this UI then I propose that we find something a little more practical. E
