Still creating links?

Before v4, I created links between content as often as any other kind of annotation, several every week. With the new versions, navigating to a link destination now requires divining one's way through a search routine, for which I am clearly not creative enough. Besides two instances involving help from kind forum members, I haven't successfully created a link in GLA since.
Maybe creating links wasn't/isn't a common task for many users, but I am curious how others have fared with the change. What I've found is that I now use GL on my Android device more for reading, and most of my annotation I perform with GL on my Windows 10 device.
