How are errors in text handled?

Last night while we were studying, my wife found a typo in the Gospel Principles book. You can find it in your copy on page 147. It is also in every electronic copy I can find, such as:

Gospel Library for iPhone
http://www.lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?h ... 94610aRCRD
http://www.lds.org/languages/pdf/gospel ... __eng_.pdf

In Chapter 25 (Fasting), under the section titled "We Are Blessed When We Fast", Isaiah 58:8-9 is quoted as saying, "... the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward ...". The correct word from the scriptures is "rereward". (At least, that's what Gospel Library tells me. But can it be trusted? ;))

I already reported this to cur-development@ldschurch.org as instructed in the manual, but now I'm curious what the text source is for the Gospel Library application.

If the text source is updated to correct something like this, will Gospel Library give any indication of updated material when I go to Manage Library?

Having worked a little bit with the official scripture data provided to the volunteer developers who work on the mobile apps, I assume that an error in the text is probably because of the official scripture source XML that the Church uses (and the same source they provided to the Community Projects). The reason I say this is that I got the impression that the Church tries to use this same source content everywhere in order to be consistent. If I remember right, it seems like scriptures.lds.org were done before this source content had been designed, but that they would try to use it the next opportunity they could.
