Kindle Fire HD Fourth Generation support

I recently purchased a Kindle Fire HD Fourth Generation for my husband and his main use for it is Gospel Library. I have a Kindle Fire and am able to download all videos in the app. After countless phone calls to Kindle I was told Gospel Library is not compatible with the newer Kindles. Will the newer Kindles ever be compatible? On a brighter note I love Gospel Library, thank you for its invention.
