What about viewing Friday
You talked about viewing at a later time but what about having those invited come on Friday as Saturday attendance is not as good.

There are viewing times specified starting at noon MST on Friday, then every three hours after that until 9:00pm MST on Saturday. The stake president may select any of those times (or he could even record it and pick a different time, but I'd want to be very sure that the recording worked).farwest wrote:You talked about viewing at a later time but what about having those invited come on Friday as Saturday attendance is not as good.
So any of those Friday viewing times are indeed an option.

An extra benefit for those in North America. The reason for the earlier start times is so that the broadcast will be available Saturday morning in parts of the world where most of North America is still asleep.
But, as Alan said, the stake president may choose to use any of the broadcasts.

This is a misprint. The First Presidency has requested that this broadcast not be posted to the Internet at this time. It will be streamed via Internet but only through a special URL that is only made available to priesthood leaders through the GSD. At some point in the future archives may be posted, but that is not planned at this time.Alan_Brown wrote:The STS How to View instructions on the Satellite program schedule wiki page have now been updated to reflect that recordings are indeed permitted.
The updated notice also mentions that "Internet audio and video archives" will be available on broadcast.lds.org "Beginning Tuesday, November 16, 2010 as languages become available."

Well, all I can say is that the communication about the broadcast details have been unusually confusing. That's too bad. There is really no reason to have "misprints" stick around in this digital age. If there is new accurate information, then make sure it gets posted to everywhere that the incorrect information is posted. There are versions of this information on:jdrusse wrote:This is a misprint.
