Out of curiosity, what is the end goal of this?

Will this be a way for leaders and/or other groups to video conference from their homes, or will it only be between meetinghouses and church offices?

What equipment is required?

I have read a number of threads regarding the retrieval of the old information and I guess my finance newbyness is setting up a roadblock for me. So if this question seems silly please forgive me. Why is it necessary to know what the old budget category amounts were? I ask this because my understand...

The best place to determine what will happen in a specific ward is probably for the bishop to talk with the stake president. The stake president will be the one who determines how excess funds are handled at the end of the year. Anything we come up with is, at best, conjecture about how it might be...

At the risk of sounding like Alan :D, the Wiki has a good article on records filing: https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Record_retention In the second thread Crislapi suggested, it ended with you saying that you would try to find a Ward version of the retention guidelines. Did you ever find one? I ...

I know this thread has progressed to access to CHI1, but going back to my previous posts. I understand what Alan said, but I guess that we looked it slightly differently. When we heard about the "roll over", our Bishop was very pleased. That policy would seem to "reward" those wards who, during one...

I really enjoyed the training and am getting into the books - love the focus on family and individuals. And using the councils that are established. While I was watching the broadcast I kept thinking many of these messages would be great for every member to see. And..... there they are for every mem...

The date printed is October 31, so it should have everything. Report is in my name as it should be. The possibilities Crislapi suggested might be the problem. The home ward clerks are great men but not tech wizards. I think I might be the only one from my stake that looks at the forums and WIKI. Tha...

October Donations missing in MLS?

We got our YTD donation summary from the home ward last Sunday. It does not include the October donations. My wife says they announced in Sacrament Meeting that the data either wasn't in MLS or the summaries weren't picking them up for some reason (she didn't really understand what they were trying ...

Not sure exactly what this means, but it sounds like you're holding off on reimbursing a member until all CUBS patches have been made. There is no need for this. Reimburse as normal. The fixes aren't going to change the money you have. From the e-doc: No, no - paying as normal. It was just a matter...

Another silent change has been made to MLS in the last few days. In my Stake MLS this morning I noticed "Budget:Activities Committee" now appears in the category list. Luckily I did not make any transactions with the "Budget:Other:Activities Committee" subcategory I had created and was able to dele...
