KMZ/KML-formatted boundary data is avaliable from the CDOL directory: https://cdol.lds.org As long as you have the proper access rights, you should be able to log in, find your stake or wards, then click "Unit Boundary Maps" at the top of the page. You will have the opportunity to download KMZ data ...

Since funds are now carried over from one quarter to the next, is a cut-off date relevant anymore?

Actually as a finance clerk you can get the KMZ files for your stake and wards, from CDOL. You will have to go to your stake (after you login search on your stake name) and you will have the option to view the maps, which has the KMZ files listed there too. Wow, cool, I was just using it wrong. I a...

You can download them via CDOL. Then you would have to get them printed. Look at your stake and you will see a Unit Boundary Maps option which will give you the stake and all the ward boundaries. There are letter size and poster size as well as KMZ files to download. I assist with our stake's ERC (...

I did this when our stake upgraded to MLS a few years ago. Set up one machine with everything except MLS. Then, to solve the duplicate SID issue, run Microsoft's SysPrep utility on the machine: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457073.aspx Now, use your image creation software of choice t...

A few people have tried using a more limited account, but I don't know what their long-term success with upgrades are. There really is no way to do thorough testing given that we have no idea what the upgrades might be doing or when they'll arrive. Doesn't a limited-user account stop send-and-recei...

I am a chronic forum lurker, forced out into the open by my question on this issue: Why don't we use limited-rights user accounts on Windows for anyone who needs less than a clerk-level access? I don't understand why we run with admin-level accounts. This would keep most people from manipulating the...

That is has been available since the beta release in November 2009. To view the stake boundaries you must be signed onto the site. Then at the My Ward tab make sure the "Show resources and services assigned to ward on map" option is checked. Click the link for your stake. If the boundary is not dis...

The website address I am using is beta-maps.lds.org. Wow, I had no idea this existed! Very cool. It actually prompted me to sign up for a forum account just to suggest one thing: If there could be some sort of option to view the whole stake (not just your ward), that would amazing. I'm thinking alo...
