Allocation of Budget Funds from the stake

I'm pretty sure that I have a problem with my copy of MLS. Our Budget Allocation Form from MLS (see attached) is only populated with percentages. There are no dollar amounts. I was under the impression, though I don't remember from where, that the per capita values were to be shown above each column...

MLS 3.3 Beta

I'm a stake clerk. I got a call today from one of my units complaining that when they try to open some membership records, a window pops up indicating that "An Error Occurred". When I went to check it out, I discovered that they had version 3.3 installed! Our stake is not supposed to be on any beta ...

I'm a stake clerk and I just get "Bad Request". I think it may not be available any longer.

It sounds like you need to Call Salt Lake and have them do an authorization reset. The first time you log in after that, will establish the computer that can log in. However, before you do that, I suggest you back up your data on a USB Flash drive, reinstall the operating system, download software f...

In looking for instructions on what to order for the 2011 curriculum, all I could find was the form for 2010 materials. On the form, it states that orders should be placed by Sep. 15, 2009. I'm guessing that there would be a similar date for curriculum orders this year (e.g. Sep. 15, 2010), but I c...

I was pleasantly surprised when I was told told not to worry about getting this branch caught up, it was not necessary . Wow, it's not often that I get to hear what I want! So if any of you are in a situation where reconciliations are not up to date, either for your own unit or a unit in your stake...

I encountered exactly the same problem yesterday. I created a response to a clerk's query, saved it and transmitted it (I hope). Later, when I looked, there was nothing was in the Sent Items folder (I emptied it a week ago).

Quarterly report transmission failures

I have 12 units in my stake. The clerks in these 12 units are all experienced and all have been in place for at least one year. This month, four of them failed to transmit the Quarterly Report, even though it was finished and they all claimed to have transmitted it. I called SLC to ask about this an...

Return-Path

It appears that one of the enhancements that HQ made in sending the emails was do add a Return-Path to the header. All undeliverable bounces are now being sent to an address at HQ. Hopefully they are doing something with them. It's nice not to have tons of bounces, but yes, you do lose the ability ...

Stake Computer Not Updating?

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. I am a stake clerk. I have one unit (just down the hall) whose data is failing to update to the stake computer. This has been going on for over a month. I've contacted support about this and currently, they've "asked the programmers to take a look ...
