My questions are: 1. Will the changes we made on the 14th take affect, or is everything set in motion and unchangeable after the Dec. 2 letters are sent to the wards? 2. Do the Bishops have a way to preview their allocations now in MLS to see the correct amount? Can I tell them all to check MLS aga...

I'm pretty sure that out-of-unit records are local to MLS and don't provide any special access on lds.org. However, once you have an out-of-unit record you can assign the person to a calling--which is sent to CDOL. And callings in CDOL can provide access. But I don't know whether all callings provi...

Our out-of-unit leaders (ysa stake) are able to access the directory and maps, but that may be more due to their callings than the fact they are set up as out-of-unit (bishoprics, high councilors and stake presidency). We've had some issues with the calendar. No harm in trying it out, though. Be awa...

As additional clarification, your 2011 total ending balance will appear next year as a single line item - carry-forward balance. All of your budget subcategories will begin 2012 with $0 in expenses, income and transfers. In other words, subcategory balances do NOT carry over to next year. See this p...

I agree. I think you have found a bug. I can find Stake Single Adult Adviser in the Organizations > Single Members > Stake Single Adults or ...> Committee Positions. It would be logical, then, that Stake Young Single Adult Adviser would be under Organizations > Single Members > Stake Young Single Ad...

So the question becomes why are 3 year olds showing up as Infants, when they should be children? Or is this like Sunday school where they don't move up in class until the beginning of the year? Don't know for certain, but I would assume all groups are handled the same as Sunday School. If not, at s...

Financial information (donations) is not part of a membership record and does not move with a membership record. Instead, it is part of the unit's financial records and is kept with the records of the unit where it was received. If for nothing else, I see this as being because this is the best way t...
