I assume you are referring to the meetinghouse locator feature of maps.lds.org? There is currently no mechanism for providing nicknames to buildings. The only way to identify one is by address.

Is it possible to take a check, sign it, and then fill it out at the time that it is needed? We're having a ward activity at an ice skating rink and it requires a 25% deposit based on the numbers that are there. Since you need the deposit to skate, and you won't know the count until the event, why ...

I contacted SLC yesterday. They indicated that there have been isolated reports of temple recommend activations through MLS not being properly communicated to the temples or the online recommend system. The person I spoke with thought a patch to MLS was in the works to address the issue, and recomm...

This error occurs when someone receives a recommend from a bishop in another stake and then has your stake activate it. So it is not because they have a new recommend book, but because it was issued from a recommend book registered to another stake. It would appear that somehow your stake MLS has lo...

If there is no indication on the form what corporation it is from/for, I can see how that would have trouble being accepted by the IRS in the case of an audit. If you want an official position, you will likely need to contact the Tax division at church headquarters. However, it would appear the inst...
