BTW, if I go to the visualstudio.com URL for the ldswin project, it says 401 not authorized. So.... how can one even get involved if there is desire to participate, as well as actually be aware of the progress/activity?
Thanks,

Re: Windows 8.1 update?
I 2nd this question. I use the new app and it is beautiful and nice. But is there any word on continued progress? This info sounds good: http://tech.lds.org/wiki/Gospel_Library_for_Windows_8
but is there any way we can see what's going on?
Thanks,

Re: Windows Phone Content Updates?
I'm also waiting for the October 2013 General Conference content update to be released? (along with my wife, my brother, at least 2 of my cousins, etc.) There are plenty of WP users in the Church & the platform continues to grow market share. How many human hours does it actually take to update ...

Re: Mormon Channel on WP8
I have a Lumia 920. Last fall I installed Mormon Channel app on it. It's worked forever since. Every night we have our family prayer, then watch a Gospel Stories video. We frequently do so on my Lumia 920, and never do we have a problem with the videos playing back. So whatever problem the app has, ...

Re: Any efforts for Windows 8 applications?
Unless I'm wrong, the limited resources may not be 100% the reason for them starting development of a Win8/RT app. It has been communicated that once a project starts, volunteer member programmers will help build it. I know it will require time & energy from church I.T. staff, as well as long-te...

Re: Any efforts for Windows 8 applications?
Roger. I have RT. And I think whatever the church develops for Windows 8 need to incorporate RT in addition to standard windows. Windows Phone 8 too. RT is lighter & the batter life is great.

Re: Error downloading with LDS Tools
I haven't heard of that problem. Mu wife & I both have Lumia 920s. But you should probably create a new thread specifically for that issue in accordance with the forum rules.

Re: Any efforts for Windows 8 applications?
Also, I'll bet the church has a Facebook page. Maybe we could start some activity there. The only problem is o don't think would be a way to validate that the people who vote for it are actually church members. On the other hand. If I made a simple registry on a private site, we could require enough...

Re: Any efforts for Windows 8 applications?
Probably a registry where church members could sign a request. It maybe even better would just be to start getting all Windows 8 church members we know to come to this thread & let their voices be heard right inside the church's tech forum. The thing is, if I setup a web page where member could ...
