I know this question was posted almost six months ago and has been addressed by different people, but it is one I've wrestled with myself and have recently come to some understanding about. I believe that the policy relates directly to the priesthood keys the stake president holds for his geographic...

I've been able to successfully run a webcast (albeit fairly poor quality video) over a 256kbps uplink using the webcast software. Audio was fine, and in the end that's the crucial component of the webcast. I'm in Australia, so I imagine my bandwidth conditions (distance from SLC, etc.) are somewhat ...

I pray the Church has worthwhile option soon. If your stake has the budget, a paid account which allows for up to 25 par...

I don't know if it's possible to retrieve those ones you have already lost, but can I recommend you turn on the annotation sync feature ASAP as this will back up any new annotations to your study notebook on LDS.org. (Personally, I find this the most useful feature of the whole thing!)

I've looked at the demo and it looks great! But it's telling me it's an invite only service. How does someone get invited?

Do to a long distance of some student, I'm planning to reach them through webinar system. I try some and find Vyew as quite worth to use. There are other softs worth to test? I've recently started using WebEx Meet (meet.webex.com), which is free, for multi-point web/video conferences. I used ooVoo ...

I've just downloaded the latest (July) issue of the Ensign and it renders fine on iPad/iPhone, so hopefully they'll be fine in the future too. For those who are interested, I have "fixed" the earlier 2011 issues and packaged them up. You can download them here.

Wonderful suggestion! I've been looking for a solution for this for ages and I can't believe it was so simple! Incidentally, I've used Acrobat 9 Standard to create the PDFs and they're coming out about /half/ the size of the original! Bonus!
