Someone who I know who tested NewFS had two issues that are to me rather glaring, who can I contact to get the word to about the problem as that person got no response during the beta. The bigger one has to do with combining names.

I sent feedback about three years ago on several ideas I had for lds.org once I learned they were looking at revamping the site. Actually got responses. One came a week later, the other came back six months later when someone was able to as the suggestion was rather detailed. So they do get the feed...

On IM, Ive heard of an application that uses all three major IM programs, it can be found at http://www.trillian.cc so you only need one client to work with MSN, Yahoo, and AIM. Might be useful for those involved in leading the discussions if IM chat is used.

I've got one and use it to get things off BYUTV that the Church broadcasts that are not distributed afterwards on DVD, such as the recent General Young Womens Meeting. There are some DVD/VCR models. Most of those run under $150 US. Many for less if they do not include the VCR. But as it is, VCRs are...

Surround sound is not that hard to do, so that is probably why they may have done that. In fact, two media items available through Distribution are in 5:1 surround sound, 'The Restoration', and a 5-minute video just recently made available to US members that has been used in Asia for some time. 5:1 ...

Tthis is a common scenario, even in extraction work they found the records simply didn't give the maiden name of the wife. We'll see this come out more as we get some of those records indexed. Was seen alot in European and Spanish/Mexican records. That being said, I've seen the opposite too, some re...

Yes, that could be part of the 'viewing options' one could have available. But it has its drawbacks, in that if you have a partial record and want to find out if anyone else has other information, or someone submits information you need, then it would not show that information right away and one mig...

We'll see a few trees like that already from what they have been doing to try to link up families based on information submitted to the present IGI/OI. Someone told me of a man who got a large amount of information on his ancestors, did the work, and about a year later discovered that the informatio...

Here's yet another idea. Have an icon (maybe a tree) next to a name in another database that has been 'combined' into a tree. That way, if something is found by someone and then added to a tree, everyone can see that it was added to a tree as a match. There are two things that can be done here. 1. A...
