Re: Sacrament and Class Attendance

Right now the only thing in LCR would be the class rolls. You can print them out but you can't input data for a good idea of attendance for stats. Largest class in any ward is gospel doctrine, then elders quorum. Usually, Sunday School classes are not tracked, but aggregate attendance at priesthood ...

Re: Missionary Progress Report

If it's on LCR you are seeing the blank form then my guess is 1. The system is not up and running quite yet, or 2. The missionaries haven't really started using the system yet either. May go more live as soon as 3.0 is released. Based on a discussion here about the HT/VT functionality, that could be...

Re: How to order "Handbook 2: Administering the Church"?

Also worth noting here is they recently sent out notifications of a few new updates to Handbook 2, one was last August to 21.1 for social media, and there were several other minor but important updates sent out recently. Those may already be found in the Gospel Library app and web versions of the ha...

Re: New way to watch youtube videos without distractions

Another one is K9 Web Protection by Blue Coat, the old Cerberian filter, that may be based on a bad experience last month in trying to get a music piracy site blocked by all the big filters, including Zscaler, Barracuda, Websense, FortiGuard, Net Nanny (has no category for media piracy) etc., before...

Re: Sacrament and Class Attendance

In my ward we have generally about 400, and about 220 or so attend sacrament regularly. So the going from row to row, counting just the number of people in the row, not noting names unless it is a recent convert (and even then that may not be necessary as the bishop may be aware and may see or hear ...

Re: Sacrament and Class Attendance

He's not writing down names, but uses the listing tool to capture numeric data, but not taking down the names. The count at Sacrament meeting is a key indicator (see that part of LCR for the bar graph and you can select that one alone and compare the percentage with other lines where needed). June i...

Re: New Patriarchal Blessing Submission not working in IE 11

May have something to do more with the programming of the part of LCR you're using than browsers, because I do know from working with people at FamilySearch on a couple things that FamilySearch does not always work right with MSIE, any version. FamilySearch supports it but has found it very difficul...

Re: Missionary Progress Report

I just saw a description from a ward mission leader in St. George, he said that once the missionaries got iPads, and that was done very recently too in the Utah St. George Mission, all the ward mission leader has to do is log on to lds.org and go in to LCR, and see the progress record for each inves...

Re: Missionary Progress Report

Not all units in the US will have the report, apparently, just learned that a mission president in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina sent the whole shipment of iPads he got back to Salt Lake. It is likely the method of entry of data into a dedicated app on the iPad itself how they will convey the progr...

Re: Ruko and old tv

Those are the Roku 2 and 3. They were the ones with the USB port. However, the Roku 1 does have a feature where you can beam a video from a tablet or smartphone to the TV through an app. That's the workaround for the Roku 1 they built into it. It's also on the rest of the box line and the streaming ...
