Re: Expenses

I actually have the same question. I am the financial clerk but was out of town when the bishopric cut a check. When I came back to look at how they performed things I noticed that we overpaid by 11 cents because the person who turned in the receipt got a little dyslexic on the tax. The member clai...

Re: English LDS.org website

Why am I directed to the German site...? You are directed to the German site, because German is the celestial language (see President Uchtdorf's statement to that effect here ). :D I am on the English version and want to watch a new video " am I good enough" . I am then sent to the German...

Re: Search living relatives in my own tree

Now, I understand that living names must only be seen by the person who entered them, but my problem doesn't have anything at all to do with that legal/privacy restriction. It is an entirely separate issue - a simple function that the program doesn't allow for. I can not see any reason, in principl...

Re: Finding/correcting deceased members records.

I looked at a deceased uncle's FS page and it does not have baptism or confirmation dates, though we know he was baptized. He went into the service after high school graduation, moving around the world for 20 years. Not active in church for decades. There are many reasons why a person's page in Fam...

Re: Finding/correcting deceased members records.

Someone here at the FS library told me to look at my uncle's ID number and said if it did not start with a KW then the Church does not know my uncle is dead. Sure enough, his ID number starts with an LK. The other deceased members of his family have numbers that start with KW. That theory about the...

Hopefully you can instruct me what I am doing wrong ?

As noted in this post, this app is not created by the Church, but rather by a commercial developer. See that post for details on how to get support.

Re: Where do I find the Indexing App for Android

Also hoping to see the app come to fruition. I've been enjoying the desktop experience, but haven't got to doing it as often as I would like. Having a mobile app would allow more opportunities for this to happen with being able to do it on the fly... Waiting for meetings, clients, a spare quiet mom...

Re: Can sign in to mobile phone but not with ipad

In response to these recent posts (1) I am trying to sign into "Family Search" and (2) I do not have the "incognito mode" activated in the privacy settings on my iPad. I appreciate your responses however. FamilySearch.org has an option to sign in with your LDS Account. You might...

Re: Lost all highlights and tags

I uninstalled Gospel Library on my iPhone because it was taking up so much space. I had downloaded loads of conference issues, ensigns, manuals, etc. I figured I would uninstall and then reinstall and then re-download the material I needed. Unfortunately, when I reinstalled, all my highlights, tags...
