Using ldschurch.org accounts for stake documents

I don't have access to one of the church unit email accounts, but I gather that all stakes have them. I believe they are using Google Apps, enterprise version, which offers a better privacy profile. If that's the case, is the documents service also available? My stake presidency is pondering the pri...

thanks! yeah, pics or video would be great, but please don't inconvenience yourself. I've been trying to put together the pictures I've seen here of different camera locations and their respective views, all in preparation of mounting our stake's camera(s). FYI, I think MS Expression will allow you ...

Placed over the 3rd clerks office. Have you found that to be too high of an angle? Or does it still seem like you're naturally looking at the speaker? (I remember reading a comment on here about seeing the tops of bald heads...) Also, at that distance, how far are you zoomed in for the pulpit? Than...

Hardware-based remote control for Sony EVI-D70

I'm trying to figure out my options for hardware-based remote controls for the Sony EVI-D70. There's been a lot of talk of software ones on this forum elsewhere and elsewhere . It seems that these aren't completely figured out and/or reliable (please let me know if I'm wrong?). The list for hardware...

Getting choir/organ mics back to the materials center is also one of my concerns. I have access to a few Audio-Technica 2000 Wireless systems, but I don't know if they'll broadcast far enough (especially through walls). Another option is to use wireless to broadcast to back of cultural hall, and the...

Podium microphone pre-processed versus house audio post-processed?

So, I'm trying to decide the best way to capture podium audio. I've seen many references to capturing a direct feed (pre-processed) from the podium mic. I've also seen a lot of suggestions to capture the line output (post-processed) from the audio system. For the purposes of internet broadcasts, is ...

I'd love to see this diagram. I saw your pictures in the camera setup post, and it's the same building design I'm working with.

So, I got the Roxio USB capture device, and tested it out with a DVD playing. I was less than impressed with the video quality. When I set it to best framerate, the size dropped to 4-- x 270. Otherwise, I ended up with ~15fps with 640x360. Now, I'm sure this is a problem with my net connection (as w...

I wanted to report back that I've been able to use the Roxio USB Easy VHS to DVD device to input video into Vidyo. However, I was getting interlacing issues as reported in this thread . I wasn't able to see an easy workaround as suggested here . Then again, other people didn't have the interlacing p...
