Re: Assisted Listening device interferring on Amateur Radio

I always thought they had some range of tune-able frequencies/channels, but perhaps these are older than the ones i remember, that or my memory is failing me. The ones I found are crystal controlled. There are some internal adjustments, but I don't know how much range you have to "fine tune&qu...

Re: Problem with projector during conference

dnslynn, I tend to suspect the projector, primarily because of the change in the problem when you switched between them. Can you give me details on the model numbers of the projectors you were using and which one was behaving erratically? As to diagnosis of the problem, The FM may in the end need to...

Re: Assisted Listening device interferring on Amateur Radio

I uncovered a cache of Comtek PR-72b receivers. They're single-channel and do not appear to be tunable. I trust you on this, I know the receivers have evolved over time, and that they were more limited than they are now, I always thought they had some range of tune-able frequencies/channels, but pe...

Re: Wireless Microphones

If the problems persist you, could try to get them to use the Wired Lapel Mic, after that, the wireless seams like a dream. We've got wired lapel lying around. Not sure who ordered them. I guess we could try it and see if lapel even works. My concern is that it will increase the trip hazard. It's e...

Re: Wireless Microphones

I've checked with FM. We can get wireless lavalier (uck!), but for some reasons, not wireless headsets. I detest lavalier for sound reinforcement as you can't get the same volume out of them. (Handhelds and headsets are closer to the mouth.) This is true, and it may change, but in the foreseeable f...

Re: Wireless Microphones

It seems there has been an increase in demand for the wireless microphones in the wards. This I think is the largest challenge of technology. What is it we really need? I don't ever remember anyone screaming for an tablet PC, until after apple introduced it to the world, and now everyone needs one....

Re: Meetinghouse system update

First My apologies, I thought I had set my preferences to notify me of replies to my post so that I'd know if i needed to clarify anything. For the most part it seems you have all figured it out, though i can add a couple of things. My situation is complicated because we nearly always "tape&quo...

Re: RF to video adapter

a system update, which will eliminate the need for a TV tuner. Ohhhh, do tell. What can we expect? I'll elaborate, and apologize, that some of you may have to wait a long time. The Upgrade Process Approximately every 15 to 20 years, as budgets allow, the AV systems in the meetinghouse are updated. ...
