Re: Ministering Tool

Districts are for organizational purposes only. You can have many or few districts, depending on your situation (I think 1 minimum is required). To add couples, Relief Society would add the sister first and then add her husband as her companion. Elders Quorum would add the brother first, then add hi...

Re: Upcoming Project Need Brainstorming

One thing that comes to mind is to have page numbers correlate with digital and print version. Related request would be to put a column indicator for print versions that have columns. We used to read a column a day in the scriptures when the children were little but that is cumbersome digitally if ...

You should speak with your ward or branch clerk. They can help you get it taken care of.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't remember that and noticed that the lock is greyed out and easy to miss.

Re: Ministering with private records

Members with their information set to "private, leadership only" show as orange text on the ward map and there is a lock next to their name. Ward council members can see this information (I assume stake council as well, but have not verified). It isn't as easy as a list, but it is pretty e...

Re: Access to YSA ward information

So I have a similar situation in my ward with the bishop and his wife serving as 'out-of-unit-members.' The bishop has been able to access the directory without any issues but when I entered the wife as receiving a calling, she still does not have access to the directory. It can take up to 24 hrs f...

Re: User guide available for missionary Online Recommendation system ?

After I log in to the Missionary Online System, when I click "Help" in the upper right corner of the screen (near my name), another screen will open with information on how the system works. The screen says "Online help for ward clerks" and I am the ward clerk so I don't know if ...

Re: RS Secretary Ministering Access

A couple of things to check: 1. Are they in standard callings or custom callings? Custom callings grant no access in LCR. Only standard callings do. You can tell a custom calling because it has an asterisk next to the calling title. According to the Access Table, RS Ministering Secretary has access ...

Re: 4 Sep 2018 Family Tree update

I will force myself to stay with it for the sake of the work, but I have enough names reserved for ordinances that I don't need to do much more of that for awhile. I also index every day and will be indexing more and using other parts of FamilySearch less, I'm afraid. I only hope they will listen an...
