And to add to aebrown's instructions - once you have your Budget Allocations subcategories set to zero, you should deactivate them so they don't show up on any drop down boxes and cause future confusion.

I noticed some of my old Budget:Budget Allocations subcategories reactivated after the last patch downloded. They didn't have any amounts associated with them so I was able to deactivate them easily.

I am also running 3.4.1 beta.

Hi dbarfuss2, In a message from CHQ dated 09 Jul 2007, it says, "Scout Registration: Stakes should pay for unit chartering and Scout registration for youth and leaders....... Exception: Canadian stakes pay only 50% of the provincial Scout registration fee per young man and leader. The other 50% of t...

I'm running MLS 3.4 and seeing the same problem. Having said that, I don't think I've done a category change since downloading 3.4. I'll watch the next one I do.

Am I correct in sensing a little undercurrent of frustration? I hear and understand your concerns. I would suggest that a starting point would be to try to develop a good working relationship with your Stake Clerk. He is responsible for training and troubleshooting the MLS system. Although, in all h...

If I recall correctly, the defalcation process is an auditing function that deals with lost or missing funds. Once you have completed the process it may be required to make up the missing donation from the ward budget funds. I would double check with LUS first though.

Hi JohnShaw,

The existing WAP is a Cisco 1231G. According to our STS, as soon as he plugged it into the 881, the WAP went live. It doesn't sound like any compatibility problems - which I think reflects the instructions that were issued with the 881.

Hope that helps.

Hi JohnShaw. I didn't question the STS on the model number - I'll check with him and get back to you. I can tell you that the WAPs were originally installed at the same time as the PIX, that is they were all part of the original installation and my understanding is that they were Cisco units. I'll c...

I'm looking for experiences with installing the new firewall and existing Cisco WAP (1321 or 1424). I heard some disturbing news (from the GSD) that they wouldn't be compatible for some reason, which would change my strategy for deploying wireless in Meetinghouses. My experience with GSD is that in...
