Re: Letters in Membership Number

The second to last digit should be a number. The last digit can be an "A" as was stated. My mrn ends with an A as well.

Re: Email all Ward Teachers and Instructors

In LCR - Send a Message you can select all callings, then you have to go through the list and check those you want from the full list. You would have to have the clerk help since that feature is only available to the bishopric, executive secretary and clerks.

Re: Finding my children's membership number

I stand corrected. I had thought the 'Show Record Number' was calling-dependent. In the directory application at lds.org, my wife (who is not head of household) is able to see both her own MRN and my MRN. Thank you for that information. It is calling dependent. If you have a bishopric, executive se...

Re: Baptism and Confirmation Records

Now that function has been moved to LCR. Apparently, it's no longer lost on a move-out, but I don't think it's a part of the member's record. It's just "miscellaneous" information hanging around in LCR. It is stored with a members record now and that is why it isn't lost on a move-out. An...

Re: Finding my children's membership number

You should be able to see them in the directory for you family. There is a Show Record Number link for each person. I know I can see it for my whole ward because of my calling, but I believe that anyone (at least the Head of Household and Spouse) can see it for that household.

Re: Second meetinghouse for a ward

So if I’m reading this thread correct, with the current design, this is not possible? What then would be the correct channels for a feature request - is there an email address to contact? Or does it go up the PH leadership line - bishop, SP, AP etc? (We are outside the USA). Interestingly, the remo...

Yeah, we looked at that. One of the challenges is the no unit number requirement that the Handbook imposes. Several parts are done today by unit number so that's where some of the work would be.

You'll need to have the clerk approve them and then they'll show up.

Re: Last Name and First Name Backwards

You'll need to work with your clerk. It looks like your preferred name is entered backwards compared to your full name.
