P.S. I wish the children can be hidden while I'm scrolling for names. Seems like it clutters the contact list when there aren't that many people looking for them. The Android version of this app has a Settings menu where you can toggle on and off the display of Spouses and Children in the contact l...

I spend a fair amount of time because of work and other things in IRC. I was wondering if there was an irc channel? If not, would there be interest in having an irc channel? Maybe something like: #lds-android #lds-iphone #lds-general There was a channel called #ldstech or something a while back tha...

Does anybody know a general timetable for updating LDS Tools for Android? Specifically I'm wondering about calendering and member photos. Well, it did just barely go to the Android market in the last few weeks for the first release. So I imagine it would be some time before an updated version with ...

[EDIT: Oops, I just read up on this a bit further and found WP7 is way too different to support the WM6.x version of the YanCEyware reader and no update is expected. Sorry about the misleading info.] Yeah, it's a completely different development stack for writing mobile apps. It relies entirely on ...

The webcast software doesn't seem to recognize that WMEncoder 9 is installed. Perhaps this is because it is a x64 OS and it installs to the Program Files (x86) folder instead of just Program Files. Any thoughts on what I can do? Perhaps guidance in this thread will be helpful... https://tech.lds.or...

I personally doubt it. The decision was just recently made to not allow export of MRNs anymore for security reasons; I can't see them undoing the decision so soon again or on a whim.

We have a similar problem with the online ward directory on the new lds.org site. We have two sisters in our ward who have been separated from their husbands for many years. The husbands' records are not in our ward and never have been; the husbands have never lived in our ward. Both of the sisters...

Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet, but today while installing "Gospel Library" on my phone after changing to a new ROM I noticed that "LDS Tools" was available on the Android Market. I installed it and it seems to be working great. I also have the commercial, paid app "Stake Central" which ...
