A couple weeks ago, in work I was doing for a program to help me with my new calling as an assistant clerk, I discovered what seems to be a bug. I submitted feedback on lds.org about it, but haven't seen a response or repair. Basically, when you login (I was starting from the main site), then look u...
So, I was recently called as the Ward Statistical Clerk. I would like to make my job easier by automatically generating certain aspects of the reports. I am only wondering if there is an already existing API in place for LDS Maps. If there is, it will make my job all that much easier. Any insights?

Is Home/Visiting Teaching data planned to be pushed upstream to Church Headquarters in the near future? I personally think it would be a very useful feature for members to be able to access information about their own home teaching route and who their home teacher is. It would provide, among things,...

Just curious, how long does it take to roll out changes in the login page for labs.lds.org? A while ago I was added, but couldn't login. After I did a lot of testing, I found the problem to be that my LDSAccount password was the problem, since it is symbol rich. I informed them several weeks ago and...

I see the same thing, but elsewhere in the .csv I see a second entry for the next days general conference. Are you sure you are missing the second entry from the file altogether?

Whatever you do, it might still be a good idea to mount your drive using your linux live-cd and copy your files, or at least the important ones, to another device. Also, from the linux live-cd you should be able to run a filesystem check and repair using 'fsck.ntfs /dev/sda' or, if you are using a '...

If you use linux, searching the gentoo portage tree gives me: xournal (keep journal with a stylus) and rednotebook (powerful, fancy journal program). It looks like both of those will run on windows too.
The wikipedia page describes how they differ. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ward_%28LDS_Church%29. Scroll down to the section 'Wards and branches. Hope this helps.
