Re: Conf Interruptions

The video would be scrambled and then go off. The audio also would drop. The symptoms were very similar to a loose connection. However we have two receivers (ASL/Eng) and both were acting up at the same time. It's possible that the dish might have a problem, but it's behind a block wall with a locke...

Re: Conf Interruptions

When the problem started a pair of missionaries went to another building and saw the same problem. I checked the solar outage schedule and nothing is noted for our area this month.

We've had solar outages before and this just didn't act the same way.

Re: Conf Interruptions

I thought about that but the sun fades occur in the fall. Also the nature of the interference was more like a loose connection. The sun fades come in a specific way and you lose signal for a few minutes the it all comes back. Our problem occurred over a 20 minute period and was intermittent. Definit...

Conf Interruptions

The last 20 minutes of this mornings conf broadcast was VERY intermittent. We have two receivers, ASL and English and both were erratic. The GSC says they had no reports of trouble at their end. Did anyone else have problems?

Re: Calendar won't save "Stake Assistant Executive Secretary" as calendar viewer/editor

I suggest you verify that the person you're referring to actually has the calling of "Stake Assistant Executive Secretary".
If this checks out OK, then try and assign him access by his name.

Re: Hymns not working

I'm not sure if this is related to your problem, but the other day I recall getting a warning from my Android Application for LDS Hymns that the current application had been replaced with a newer version. I un-installed my current version and installed the newer replacement version. So far, all's wo...

Re: LDS.ORG Home Page

If you have Comcast, it may be the problem described in LDS.org not working inside firewall . Nope. I'm using Time Warner. Yesterday afternoon it started working again. It was intermittent for a while then cleared up. I WAS able to login to the lds.org site by going directly to a different page tha...

Re: LDS.ORG Home Page

Note that "lds.org" should re-direct you to "www.lds.org". That's not just semantics, that's a completely different server location. "lds.org" is hosted by the church while "www.lds.org" is hosted by a major hosting company. Perhaps just the "lds.org&quo...
