Re: Turn off the Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen

Yep. Changing that won't affect MLS or any other approved software. I routinely turn off a lot of that junk.

Re: Audio backup

I'm in the process of replacing the EJ-10 in our stake center with an EJ-8 (or equivalent). The EJ-10 has far too much attenuation so when hooked to a laptop it barely has enough audio feeding the sound system with everything maxed out. The EJ-8 has far less loss allowing for more moderate volume se...

Re: Wireless Internet Providers/Satellite Internet

...however the issue we are seeing now is when the FHC is trying to download a large file such as a stored microfiche file from one of the paid sites the church uses, they are encountering issues where the downloads will stall or become painfully slow (even slower than the previous service provider...

Re: health hazards of too much wifi

Journalists seem to gloss over the actual findings in the recently published study which shows there is actually evidence of biological damage from wireless signals. The wireless industry is increasing strengths over the last 10 years (2g to 3g to 4g and now experimenting with 5g in some areas). Th...

We have 2-3 wards in each building.

Re: Can one event span multiple locations?

Could you create two or three different events scheduled for the same time in the calendar, one for each building? Each building could have its own title and description, so you could add details for which building is live, which ones are the broadcast, and which wards are assigned to attend at whi...

In his 2015 conference talk , Elder Stanfill mentioned, "We determined to take our bicycles to the Hiawatha Trail, a converted rail line that crosses the beautiful Rocky Mountains between Montana and Idaho." Google images of the Hiawatha Trail support that it was probably filmed at (or nea...

Can one event span multiple locations?

Is it possible to have more than one facility show up for a single event? Stake conference comes to mind, where through the power of webcasting, it can be viewed in multiple buildings. Knowing which buildings will be setup to receive the live stream could be helpful to the membership.
