Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR (spam/junk folder)

" All meetings are real ." And some emails always go to the spam folder. Each email client is different, and a combination of the the recipient's ISP and email client decide if an incoming email is spam or not. There are a lot of different ways they do that. Some identify problem sending ...

Re: Clerk Action Required (Patriarchal Blessing Submission)

I just received this message tonight almost 3 years after this original post. I'll probably ignore it. The message provides no guidance.

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR

Isn't it a 2 mb limit? Something in the back of my brain makes me think that but I can't remember why.

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

Ahh, you have to click it to see the option. The 'select head of household' is a bit misleading when the child is the only person in the house. A radio button would make more sense or text that indicates there's more than one option.

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

It is possible for a sending ward to move records directly into a household. I stand corrected. That's a nice feature. I'll bet the YSA Student ward rejoiced on that one since they could send the kids back home. When we receive YSA students back (which is frequent), they always show up as their own...

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

⋅ Again, I don't think it's possible for the sending ward to send the record directly into a household. It is possible for a sending ward to move records directly into a household. When selecting records to be moved, one of the options is "Join to an existing household in the new war...

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

I don't want to be antagonistic, but I disagree with both chriswoodut and eblood66. When printing a certificate, it will reflect the ward in which the certificate is printed. While a baby blessing is not a saving ordinance, it is still presided over by priesthood authority, in particular the Bishop...

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

You should be able to check whether the home ward has already created a record by beginning (but not completing) a record request in LCR (do the search but then hit cancel at step 2). Or you can just call the home ward and ask. If the home ward has already created a record then just print the certi...

Re: LCR access for person with 2 callings

There is a yellow box in the center just below the LCR menu choices that lets you change callings. I have 2 callings with radically different permissions. The user with multiple callings clicks the down carat(down arrow) at the end of the yellow box and they can change what calling LCR uses for per...

LCR access for person with 2 callings

I've got a brother that is the financial clerk and the EQ secretary. I have assigned him both callings. However, in LCR he doesn't seem to have access to print rolls. I'm not sure if this is because there are 2 callings and the system only looks at one for access rights, OR, if neither of these two ...
