SUCCESS: Calendar Feedback

Hey - I just wanted to share a win here... We have several members at the C level in our company, and each use the WebCals feature to import the LDS calendar into Outlook (O365). It stopped working about 4 months ago, and they just reported it to me. I did some initial troubleshooting, and could see...

LDS Tools and SMS / Text Messaging

Hello- I've searched the boards here for discussion on SMS capabilities from LCR or LDS Tools and it's not been that deep. We have a young contingent in our Elder's Quorum who respond quite well to text messaging. We've tried sending mass text messages using the SMS option on LDS Tools, but you quic...

Re: Staging ministering brothers assignments

Agreed. I am newly called EQ president and I am struggling to find the appropriate way to stage all the assignments and changes for bishops approval. We recently had stake boundaries and have incorporated lots of new members into our ward, so this process feels like a complete overhaul of our curre...

Re: Split Membership data for Children from Split Families

The challenge there is that parental information isn’t available, or even information on that other ward. The manual legwork to develop a “family profile” is still required. But that is an option.

Split Membership data for Children from Split Families

Hello- My wife just shared with me that a Primary President, her presidency is having an extremely difficult time ministering to children who split time between parents. That is because frequently, that child’s membership information resides in the ward of the other parent. I just submitted Feedback...

Multiple Segments from Same Video?

If I want to show multiple clips from the same video, it appears that after adding the clip to the playlist, I have to go back out and find the video again, find the new segment, and add that to the playlist. It would be nice to be able to select multiple clips, or quickly re-add the video so that I...

Re: Two Stakes, 3 wards, 1 Building

I guess what I didn't make clear is that the conflict resolution comes from the building scheduler - not the LDS Calendar. I have no idea what system they are using - I can only hope that they are using the LDS Calendar, but I just don't know. While that remains unknown, I will have to involve the b...

Re: Two Stakes, 3 wards, 1 Building

I like the suggestion, but I still have to coordinate with the other stakes. This would add one more layer of communication which takes us further from self-service.

I'm still curious on the question of out-of-unit members.
