Re: Gossip from a FM guy

Our relatively new building has thermostats that are managed by the FM group. We still have the ability to make temporary adjustments for activities, but the overall schedule (occupied vs. unoccupied times) was set up by the FM group after discussing it with us when the building was completed. It i...

Re: Gossip from a FM guy

Our FM recently replaced all the thermostats in our meetinghouse as well. I think the same thing applies to the temples.

Borrowing tables and chairs

Looking for a policy regarding allowing members to borrow tables and chairs from the meetinghouse for personal functions at other locations. Handbook 2 states that A/V equipment "may not be removed from the building for home or personal use." Facilities Management Guidelines for Meetinghou...

Who are you asking? Users on this forum have no control over that.

Re: Submitter should not be the payee of expense

As the financial clerk in our ward I occasionally need to purchase something. I try to submit for reimbursement through LCR but I get the message "The submitter should not be the payee or fast-offereing recipient of the expense." To my mind this restriction invalidates the entire process ...

That works. However, I have to wait for every dot for every household in the stake to be placed on the map. I just wanted to know who all the assistant stake clerks were. I don't care where they live.

Re: ward directory and ward map

Am I missing something? The old directory allowed me to see lists of all stake leaders and all ward leaders. I can't see that ability in the new directory. I can do it in LDS Tools and in CDOL, but not in the directory. Edit: I can see all ward leaders at https://directory.lds.org/organizations, but...

Re: Temple Recommend Activation

I've told this story before, but I still love it. Shortly after we started using the bar-coded recommends, I was issued the first recommend from a new book. After my stake interview, I tried to activate my new recommend, because I held a position that could do that. The system rejected the recommend...

Check cleared date?

I can't find anything on LCR Finance that tells me the date that each check cleared the bank. I can look at the front/back check images, and the date the check was deposited is sometimes printed on the back of the check. However, neither LCR Finance nor the unit financial statement tell me when the ...
