Re: Unknown calling

It can take 24 hours after being placed into a calling before you have access to the new systems.

Re: Upgrade Administrative Computers from Windows 10 - 1511?

Long Term Servicing Branch would fix the need to update the Windows version every 6-18 months, unfortunately it is Enterprise Only, which may be cost prohibitive to implement church wide. The church could re-configure the machines to get updates direct from Microsoft, or at least add the updates th...

Re: Locate a member that is in a different stake or ward

You can only see the current membership of your own ward and stake.

I'd suggest trying social media.

Re: audio recording in sacrament meeting?

danamfallentine wrote:I understand that recording or photographing sacrament meeting is not allowed.

Just to be clear, it's video recording that's prohibited, not audio recording. There's no language limiting that prohibition to only certain meetings.

Re: Individualized Visibility Settings

I believe it is possible for the stake clerk to change the visibility settings of all stake leaders, so they don't need to change them. Probably. However, I wouldn't do that without the consent of the individual leaders. The default settings are due to the laws of the land in that part of the world...

Re: Adding Names to Attendance Rolls

And there really is no reason to add a non-member to an attendance roll, Not from a church record keeping viewpoint, but I understand the desire is to help the person feel included when the roll is passed around. Re: I need to edit my name in my account

There are some aspects of your name you can edit - others you cannot. Since the names are swapped between accounts, I have to wonder if somehow the MRNs were entered wrong. It's not unheard of for MRNs to get swapped between husband and wife on the temple recommends if they interview at the same tim...

Re: Should members be moved to some groups automatically?

He is 8 and he has been baptized. He shows up in the CTR class but not in the Wolf Den. I'm not seeing a definitive explanation as to when a boy joins the scouts. He can when he is 8, but I'm wondering if the system is designed to wait until he joins Valiant 8 to keep him with his "classmates&...

Re: collecting funds for scout camp

In the many audits I have participated in over the last 20 years or so, we had to zero out the other category in each branch/ward. Which sometimes meant we had to cut checks to some Donners, scouts, young women, etc.. (at various times, I was auditor, branch president, stake clerk, ward clerk) When...

Re: Can't see event

That's odd. As far as I know, everyone should be able to see all events on the location calendar - but private events probably hide the details.
