Re: Ward Area Book

That is awesome. Its great that you are developing it in an open manner. That can only benefit the overall app. If I had rails skills, I'd contribute! ;-) Anyways, I think that is the next step, they are going to share it with the President, as it would be very beneficial for us to all collaborate. ...

Re: Ward Area Book

Great new updates! There were some full-time missionaries that checked this out and thought something like this would be awesome. They won't use it now without approval, however, this is headed in a good direction. I wonder if there is a possibility of this being merged with an official effort from ...

Re: Ward Area Book

Topher, One other idea would be to allow a description field for the Ward name, where maybe in small text under the Ward name it would say the description. Or alternatively you could have a field for Stake. This could replace the description idea and show as small light text under the ward name. Thi...

Re: Ward Area Book

I agree with @williamjackson, having privacy even if obscured is a good idea. I don't think having the ward admins name and email is needed. There could be a button that says 'contact administrator' or something.

This is the kind of forward thinking that we as members of the Church need to be progressing to help further the work! Thanks and I'm grateful that you are working on it still. I imagine t...

Thank you RussellHltn and lajackson. I will advise them to that what you both suggest.

(Note for development team, it would be awesome to include this as an enhancement update to your next version of Calendar.)

Member not in unit (verified) receiving Calendar emails

A member that is no longer in our unit, received an email message from our Calendar system today, although they no longer live in our ward/stake. I verified and they don't show up on our directory. I can PM more details such as their name and email address for troubleshooting. I contacted MLS Suppor...

There's currently no concept of "subscriber" in the Newsletter application, so this is a big change. Personally, I like the suggestions made in the thread Feature: Subscribing to Newsletter for adding RSS feeds so that people can control their subscriptions through an existing industry standard. Wh...

+1 for these - but I think the email function is top on my list as more people understand how to use it:
