Re: Attendance Rolls

Thank you. That is what I thought, my question came from some of the comments above. As Financial Clerk, the only ones that count are the ones that have to do with the "budget allocation". ;)

Re: Attendance Rolls

Just a quick question. Is the question in the report worded "...all people (or those or some other non-identifying word) attending..." or is it "...all Ward Members attending..." This could make a big difference to some Wards. We 'snowbird' and the Ward in the Palm Springs area w...

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR

Great response eblood66. In my case, we use paper receipts for everything. And so far, the only ones signed up for ACH are the former Exec. Sec. and me. I am trying to get more on board, but still no luck. "You can lead a horse to water......." I used to use MLS, then they made it, during ...

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR

I am Financial Clerk, and I get emails regularly about approvals and also those that the Bishop has to 'approve'. Sometimes he isn't as timely as Salt Lake would like. ;-)

Re: Tax ID numbers....Does each Ward have one?

And you had better be sure I am going to do that this year, use my 'pre-tax' dollars to pay Tithing. It makes a lot of sense to me.

Re: Donations from ward fund raisers

As was mentioned above, it is easy to create new sub-accounts in the 'Other' account. Each year we create a new account for the fundraiser for Scout camp and Girls camp. Each a separate account. If there is one fund raiser, the money is split between the two accounts on a ratio agreed upon by the Pr...

Re: certificates

How about contacting the previous Ward? Maybe even the Bishop who was presiding at the time of the blessing will still be around, and then all will be correct.

Re: Recording Sunday School Attendance

How about just passing around a blank sheet of lined paper with a pen, and have them sign their name. There is your list, and it should be on one to two pages of paper.

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR

When I talked to Salt Lake, they said "Yes, your Stake is part of the testing of the new system", so if you aren't, it probably wouldn't show up.
What eblood66 said is absolutely correct. So, eblood66, is your Stake part of the beta too?

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR

On Sunday there was an option to do either in MLS. When I logged out, 'patches/updates' downloaded when I tried to log out of MLS. I went in Monday to the church to call Support. When I logged in to get everything ready on the computer for when I talked with them, there were more patches. When I fin...
